1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Cleanvola, LLC (“Cleanvola,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of cleanvola.com, related booking tools, and cleaning coordination services. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
Additional written scopes, proposals, property instructions, or recurring-service arrangements may supplement these Terms. If a signed service agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement controls for that service.
2. Cleaning services and independent professionals
Cleanvola coordinates residential, short-term rental, and commercial cleaning services. Depending on the service and applicable law, cleaning may be performed by independent cleaning professionals or service businesses that control the manner and means of their work. Nothing in these Terms changes a worker’s legal classification under applicable law.
Services are limited to the confirmed booking scope. Unless expressly included in writing, services do not include hazardous-material removal, biohazard remediation, mold remediation, pest treatment, exterior or high-access work, heavy lifting, restoration, repairs, or handling illegal or unsafe materials. We may refuse or stop work when conditions are unsafe or materially different from those described during booking.
3. Booking, scope, and pricing
You agree to provide accurate property, contact, access, and service information. Online prices are based on the information submitted and the selected scope. Cleanvola may adjust the scope, duration, or price before or during service if the property’s size, condition, occupancy, access requirements, or requested tasks materially differ from the booking information. We will seek your approval before performing additional paid work whenever reasonably possible.
Appointment times may be stated as arrival windows. Delays can occur because of traffic, weather, prior appointments, building access, or emergencies. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material schedule changes.
Recurring service
Recurring bookings continue at the selected frequency until paused or canceled. Pricing or availability may change with reasonable notice. A recurring discount may be removed when the agreed frequency is not maintained.
4. Payment authorization
You authorize Cleanvola and its payment-processing providers to store a payment credential and charge amounts associated with confirmed services, approved additions, applicable taxes, cancellation or no-access fees, and other charges disclosed before they are incurred. Payment-card details are handled by third-party payment processors; Cleanvola does not intend to store full card numbers on its own website.
Completed cleaning services are nonrefundable except where required by law. This does not limit the 24-hour re-cleaning remedy described below.
5. Cancellation, rescheduling, and property access
You may cancel or reschedule without a fee by giving at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests received less than 24 hours before the appointment are subject to a $75 fee.
You are responsible for providing safe, timely access to the property. If the cleaning professional cannot enter or begin service because access was not provided, an alarm, lock, gate, occupant, animal, or building restriction prevents entry, or the property is otherwise unavailable, a $75 no-access fee applies.
Cleanvola may waive a fee in its reasonable discretion for a documented emergency, but is not required to do so. If Cleanvola cancels and cannot reasonably reschedule, you will not be charged for unperformed service.
6. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate instructions for entry, parking, alarms, keys, pets, restricted areas, and building rules.
- Secure cash, jewelry, medications, firearms, confidential materials, fragile valuables, and irreplaceable items.
- Identify delicate surfaces, damaged items, special finishes, product restrictions, and known hazards before service.
- Provide working utilities, reasonable lighting, and a safe environment free from threats, harassment, illegal activity, uncontrolled animals, and hazardous conditions.
- Ensure children and other occupants do not interfere with safe performance of the service.
- Remove excessive clutter, bulk waste, and personal belongings when they prevent access to surfaces included in the scope.
Keys, access codes, and alarm information will be used only as reasonably necessary to provide service and should be updated promptly when changed.
7. Satisfaction promise, damage, and claims
If an included area was missed, notify Cleanvola within 24 hours after service and identify the concern, with photographs when reasonably available. After review, Cleanvola will arrange one complimentary re-clean of the reported area. The re-clean is the available remedy for a quality concern and does not cover tasks outside the confirmed scope, new soiling, normal wear, permanent stains, damage, or conditions that cannot be corrected through ordinary cleaning.
Report suspected loss, breakage, or property damage as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 48 hours after service. Preserve the item and relevant evidence so the matter can be reviewed. Cleanvola may request photographs, receipts, repair estimates, or other reasonable documentation. This section does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Direct hiring and off-platform services
You agree not to directly or indirectly hire, engage, pay, or arrange cleaning services outside Cleanvola with a cleaning professional first introduced to you through Cleanvola during your use of our services and for 12 months after that professional’s most recent Cleanvola appointment for you.
If you wish to engage that professional directly during this period, you must notify Cleanvola first and pay a $2,500 conversion fee. The fee is intended to compensate Cleanvola for recruiting, screening, onboarding, administration, and reasonably anticipated lost service revenue. It is not intended to restrict a professional from offering services to others. This provision applies only to the extent permitted by law.
9. Service communications and marketing
By providing contact information, you consent to transactional communications reasonably related to quotes, appointments, access, payments, service updates, customer support, safety, and account administration. These communications may be sent by phone, email, or text, including through service providers such as BookingKoala and GoHighLevel.
Marketing messages require separate consent where required. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a marketing text to opt out or use the unsubscribe link in an email. Reply HELP or contact us for assistance.
10. Website use and intellectual property
The Cleanvola name, logo, website design, text, graphics, service materials, and other original content are owned by Cleanvola or used with permission. You may use the website for personal or internal business booking purposes, but may not copy, scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer, misrepresent, or commercially exploit it without permission.
Third-party booking, payment, communication, and mapping services may have their own terms. Cleanvola is not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Cleaning results vary based on age, condition, material, maintenance history, access, and the nature of stains or buildup. Cleanvola does not promise restoration of worn, damaged, permanently stained, or improperly installed surfaces.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cleanvola will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost rental revenue, or loss of use arising from the website or services. Cleanvola’s aggregate liability arising from a particular service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service, except where applicable law prohibits this limitation or the loss resulted from liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. General terms
Governing law
These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding permitted under these Terms will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Sacramento County, California, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal obligations. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively and will be communicated when required by law.
Severability and waiver
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any applicable written service scope constitute the agreement relating to the subjects they cover.
